waveform is a digital poster designer and visual artist.

Their work frequently revolves around repetition, tessellation and abstract geometric forms. They often juxtapose a sharp, controlled and precise visual language to portray moods and subject matter that is anything but - ranging from the psychedelic to the anxious to the mysterious.

The tension between chance elements and tightly controlled renders is at the core of their work - ranging from seemingly random patterns of bubble surfaces to procedurally generated color palettes and abstract patterns, contrasting against very exact and mannered layouts and typography.

Starting originally from a visual effects background, they have been looking to repurpose familiar software in to a graphic design/illustration context - integrating renders from software such as Maya, TouchDesigner and Blender in to their work.
